Happy Friday everyone! It is 8:02 am and it feels like I have been awake for hours.  I woke up at 3:33 exactly last night laying on my back staring in the distance.  What the hell.  My cat was awake too looking at the mirror.  That was really weird.  I didn’t feel panicked, so I just went back to sleep.  I have been sleeping much better since I leave Neo in the room.  One really strange thing was the nightly nightmares I would get.  They have gone away since I’ve been sleeping with my cat in the room.

Lots of good games came out recently! I’ve been playing Borderlands a lot lately.  Its a good game.  Unfortunately their multiplayer engine uses gamespy.  That was a horribly bad move.  It really disconnected the multiplayer community that they could have had and replaced it with a piece of crap point to point (p2p) engine.  The irony in all of this is its running Unreal 3, so the server engine is there.  They just need to listen to their PC community and change the game.  I realize they probably have no interest in changing the game, but god damn it things could be much better!

Another really good game that came out was Brutal Legend.  When I am able to sit and play through a game from start to finish, you know its good! It may have been a little short (approximately 8 hours) but it was a good game!

I rented Uncharted 2 as well.  This game has its ups and downs, but every time there is a boring puzzle sequence, there is always an intense action sequence to follow.

So I went to my little sister and brothers homecoming today.  It was pretty cool to see my siblings with dates.  Interesting looking back on those times and just remember a fuzzy recollection of thoughts erased over time.

Today was interesting to say the least.  Got to play more borderlands with tricky today.  It was good times, I really like that game.  Hopefully good times at lans are ahead of us!

So I took a little break from the normal life and went up to the mountains.  We are currently staying at the Amicalola Falls State Park Lodge.  It is nice just relaxing.  So far we took the trek down to the falls.  I would have taken some pictures but it is a tad wet outside.  Currently the view is a pea soup thick cloud that hangs outside my window.  But the view was not the only reason I came up here… Relaxation is priority one on my list.  With all the bad things I’ve dealt with lately, its good to get out of town and reflect about the last few years.

One really good thing is my PS3 works here! I’ve been playing a lot of Demon’s Souls.  I also got the MAG beta.  Too bad it wants to download a 3 gig file.  Oh well!

I will hopefully have some pictures as it clears up.  I just don’t want my camera to break…

Its been a bad two weeks.  I can feel it in my bones.

I go to the mountians tomorrow.  We’ll see how that goes…
