After surviving a day of the BYOC, I can honestly say this is my best QuakeCon thus far.  I got off the plane ok and the flight was smooth.

We waited in line Wednesday night and got our equipment checked in like clockwork.  Back to the hotel to sleep and we were on our way to BYOC day 1.

We played TF2 for the beginning of the day and had some fun.  I had a 32 person listen server full for most of the day.  It was pretty cool meeting some of the people that played on the server today.

Later we busted out Sins of a Solar Empire.  After a good 7 hours of dominating the galaxy, we tried to play Killing Floor.  The network then went down.  We are not really sure what happened.  We went to go see District 9 instead.  It was a good movie definitely recommend you go see it.  The movie is pretty gory.

Anyhow, its time for sleep.  We have a big day ahead of us.

We took a lot of pictures, but I forgot my damn USB 2.0 cable.  I need to get one at Best Buy tomorrow.

One more day until I peace out and say buh bye Georgia, I won’t miss your crooked political opinions, corrupt leaders, and racist tendancies.  Instead, I am going to Texas, home of the W himself.

I had to move all of Lindsey’s shit last night.  I had plans but I guess “dem vidah games” aren’t very high on the priority list.  Having to explain making sure my PC is ready to roll out is too complicated.  Sucks, because I wont have any time today.  I’ll have to make time.  It is funny, I get asked “Why are you packing up so early Nick?”.  Simply stated, everything that could delay me did delay me.  I had to move Lindsey back into her apartment, had to do this and that.  No wonder I packed everything up early.

Anyhow, today is going to be groggy.  I need to find some things for Tom to do over my vacation.

Next time I write you, hopefully I will be in Dallas!

Well, the long pack started yesterday while I carefully sorted through my gaming shirts.  I picked 8 out and some work out clothes.  Thanks to Michelle I was able to get everything packed efficiently.  The challenge now is getting everything packed when I leave.  I will come to this cross road when I get to it.

As you can see, Bawls is a very important accessory to the trip.

Tonight I pack the old computer up in preparation of the trip to Texas.  Everything should be ready!

Quakecon is coming upon us next week.  I am looking forward to the day I depart Heartsfield International to Dallas Fort Worth Airport.  This will be my first time flying alone.  I got a nice window seat toward the front of the plane.  The view should be amazing!

Today was actually pretty terrible.  We had scheduled maintence this morning on one of our AC units.  Everything was going well until the temperature jumped to uncofortable limits.  Having to haul around portible AC units with limited power is a pain.  Thankfully its done and things started to calm down.

I am just relaxing now.  Today, video games to help with my frustration.  Later, hanging with Hal.  Going to have a good time and forget today ever happened.

For the last time blockbuster guy. I don’t want to renew my fucking rewards program.  It is a crock of shit.  Its not a good deal!

I got a new monitor.  24 inch acer monitor with HDMI.  Max rez is 1080 p.  I can also use my PS3 on here, which is awesome.

My plans were fucked again due to the “not feeling good”.  I swear, I should just play things by ear and not expect anything to happen in the day.

I am going to stumble into bed.  I am in a bad mood and nothing will change that.
