The buttons came in this past weekend. They look good. I can’t wait to start giving them out to people. It is amazing how far F7 has come since we started in highschool. Who thought that a few guys that like to lan in their basements led to this?

So I got a little tired of the same text at the top of my page.  I created a banner to replace the text.  Pretty spiffy, eh? I espically like the strogg text on the left side.  I was a little rusty in Gimp and was lacking photoshop at the time, so I took a stab at it.  Let me know what you think!

I had a pretty good weekend.  Finally killed the Tigerex in Monster Hunter over the weekend with Hal.  We had to do it twice and had no problem doing it.  I guess my new Monster Hunter weapon is lance.  Who-da-thunk I would be good with a lance.  When I was doing initial monster training I hated lance.

In other news, I got the new Batman Arkham Asylum game Friday morning.  Couldn’t put it down Friday or Saturday.  Unfortunately I beat it entirely too quick yesterday.  Needless to say, the game was awesome.  Can’t really say it was short, I just beat it way to quick.

That brings me to another point.  I have learned to hate sandbox games lately.  I want a damn storyline that continues.  If I have a city to go do whatever I want in, I usually find myself creating some sort of epic mayheim.  I am glad I traded in Prototype… That was a lot of wasted time.

Overall I give Batman a 9.5/10.  I didn’t like challenge mode very much, and I think they need to release a Gotham city DLC that allows you to take bad guys out in Gotham.  I got to admit though, Arkham was a lot bigger than I thought it would be.

Got an F7 event this weekend at Dragon con.  We are pairing up with HiRez Studios to show off their new game Global Agenda.  The F7 buttons came in the other day and they look good! I can’t wait to give them out.

I hope to take some good pictures of the action.  We will be making a news post about the event Monday on the site.  Just wanted to give the few visitors of my little community the heads up.

So I had a strange nightmare last night.  I think the constant battling of the Tigerex in Monster Hunter finally took its toll.  I lost my mind, not saying I had much of it in the first place.

I am guessing this was the same dreamscape as my dragonslayer priest dream.  Seemed like the same rules, only this time I felt a little more human.  I can not remember the first part of the dream, but I do remember bits and pieces of my friends wanting to drive to Texas to hang out with one of our fellow QuakeCon attendees, Austin.  Not really sure why he wanted to drive all the way out to Texas, but Hal was going with him.  For some reason we were in some small abandonded neighborhood.  Every house had some strange bottle of jam with the label “Here comes the Jam Man” printed on the front.  On top of that text was a creepy looking guy with a twisted smile.  Something about that face just made me cringe.

As I was going down the street, I saw a man walking toward me with that same twisted smile.  He hit a button and I heard explosions and woke up.  WTF?

After being startled awake, I kind of checked my room in a half asleep mannor to make sure nothing was out of place.  I know I talk in my sleep, but I am pretty sure I was screaming in my sleep last night.

Maybe I should go do a sleep study or something…

Sorry I didn’t post this Saturday night.  Quakecon took a turn for the worst when Saturday rolled around.  Steam would not login and we kept loosing our steam username information so going into offline mode was not an option.  There was also a massive power outage that really screwed up all of the network equipment.  DHCP stopped working, and at that point I got frustrated enough to go with sh0ckc0re to the bar and down drinks.  After 4 stiff drinks we were nice and plastered.

The flight back was fairly stressful, but I got home safely.  I will post more later when I get back.

Today was good and bad.  TF and Steam had an update last night which forced all of our computers in a semi-steam crash mode.  We had to tether a cell phone to our computers to get things working.  Tricky and I got my computers working again, but sh0ckc0re and sp00nz are still not on steam.  We played Sins of a Solar Empire all night!
