Someone decided to cleverly spoof their name on the srcds mailing list today. That someone spoofed as me. Not really sure why, nor am I concerned. I got his ip address… 67.8.179.141
Figures that ip is hosted with network solutions… Anyhow… After firewalling his ip out and banning him on the network I smiled a little and went about my normal business.
I’ve decided that I can’t really sleep well anymore in complete silence. I need the roaring sound of my PC nearby. I think its sort of strange how the simple fans blowing air comforts me.
Moral of this story… I am going to bed.
Hopefully I will be able to go to QuakeCon this year. Looks pretty grim for me at the moment. I have found that I can get Sunday covered, fly over to Texas on the day of Quakecon after work and get there in time to start with the guys. Only thing that will get me down is the line to get in. That wont be too bad though.
Getting back will be a pain, but I think I can leave Sunday and be back to work by Monday. I would only be using 1 vacation day, and it isn’t on the same day as Hal.
